Safety valve Specification:– safety (relief) valve for 1st stage argon,
– opening pressure 13 ATM,
– closing pressure 11 ATM. The safety valve mounted on the first stage of the regulator, as the name suggests, is used to protect subsequent devices in the event of a sudden, uncontrolled increase in intermediate pressure. The valve has an opening pressure of 13 ATM, which means that an increase above this value will cause the O-ring to be blown and excess gas will flow out. If the intermediate pressure drops below 11 ATM, the valve will close.
